Established in 2004, Woodleigh provides high quality support for adults with learning disabilities and related conditions.
Many of our service users present with a dual diagnosis (such as mental health problems or substance misuse) and autistic spectrum disorders and we work with people who have very complex needs and challenging behaviour.
We are proud of our success in working with those who have experienced repeated placement breakdowns and are termed “difficult to place." The people we work with have often experienced a crisis in their life or have not had their needs met fully in the past, but, with commitment and expertise, they often flourish. Woodleigh has a strong track record of supporting such people to make good progress and achieve an improved quality of life.
Our services include residential care homes, supported living accommodation and an assessment & treatment service, meaning that we are usually able to provide a suitable support package based on the person's needs at the time, as well as offer different services as they make progress, develop their independence and require less intensive support.
Each of our services are unique in layout and accommodation. Options range from two, three and four bed apartments in a core and cluster model to a few people living together in a large spacious property. This means that we can evaluate several options and agree upon the one that best meets each individuals' specific requirements.
