Kirkside, based in Leeds, is a specialist residential care for up to fifteen people. The service offers different accomodation options ranging from a one bed coach house to a four bed apartment.
Each living unit has its own living, dining and kitchen areas and there are also additional communal rooms for activity sessions and social acitivities. Certain living units are suitable for people with mobility problems.
Set around an open courtyard, people live within their own small personalised accommodation but have the security of a large staff team available in times of need.
Kirkside has extensive mature gardens and woodland and it is also next to a large park and close to Leeds city centre and its amentities as well as neighbouring countryside.
The Woodleigh Bakery is also based at Kirkside; this is a commercial bakery which gives employment for up to four service users each day and supplies all of our homes with a continual supply of bread and other bakery goods.
